It's A Ducking Stat Attack

Time allowing, we are going to be posting a daily blog covering some key stats and trends for some of the day's runners in the UK and Ireland. Please read the stats carefully as not all of them will be positive!

Stat 1 - I am a big fan of Grant Tuer, he's proven himself to be a shrewd operator in his short career to date. One angle to look for with his horses are those that are running over 12 furlongs. If we look at the record of his runners over that trip, it reads, 41 runs, 12 wins, 8 places for a sizeable level stakes profit. If we then factor in market performance, the record improves to 23 runs, 10 wins, 6 places and we maintain our level stakes profit as well. The horse of interest today is GREAT RIDLEY (9/1) who runs in the 3:50 at Catterick.

Stat 2 - Cheat Sheet System number 45 has been a little bite hit and miss in recent times but certain trainers are still landing winning qualifiers hand over fist. One such trainer is Charlie Appleby who's qualifiers have a 50.56% win rate and show a level stake profit. I personally filter his qualifiers a little further though and look to target horses with forecast odds of 4/1 or less that are running in C5 company. The horse of interest today is WILLOW COVER (7/5) who runs in the 4:10 at Lingfield.

Stat 3 - Cheat Sheet System number 34 targets track returners with other filtered criteria including trainers. One trainer who's qualifiers are always worth following is Roger Varian. When his horses ping from system 34 they have recorded a win strike rate of 47.83 and a level stakes profit. When the qualifiers also happen to feature prominently in the forecast betting (3.50 or less) the strike rate + profit margin improves significantly. The horse of interest today is LIR SPECIALE (6/4) who runs in the 5:30 at Kempton.
