8:00 Kempton - DIVINE MESSENGER (9/1 - 5 Places) - 0.50pts EW - Most of you will know that I am not a massive fan of Adam Kirby but there is no doubting his record on this horse. Adam has ridden DIVINE MESSENGER five times over this trip in AW handicaps and his record reads, 4th/3rd/1st/2nd/1st. The horse is also a multiple course and distance winner and he is now a staggering 24lb lower than when placing in a 0-85 because in February 2020. Now obviously a case could be made that he is just regressive now and I would tend to agree but he is now operating at an incredibly low level and the fact that Kirby returns to the saddle for the first time since Feb 2020 suggests to me that today might be his day.
