Today’s Quackingtips from Hamilton (29/06)
A good card at Hamilton today and we have a few tips. Our BEST BETS for today will be posted up later this afternoon as they are running at the evening meetings.
2:45 Hamilton - LUBNA (1/1) - WIN - A winner last time out and she’s a very worthy favourite in this contest with the cheekpieces fitted to assist. At a bigger price, MIDNIGHT POPPY (20/1) may outrun her odds and is worth a small EW play as well.
3:20 Hamilton - GENERAL SAGO (11/10) - WIN - On paper at least this is a two horse race between GENERAL SAGO and PRINCE OF PEARLS. Ultimately, I think the fav will have too much in the finish for PRINCE OF PEARLS but we will play the combination forecast as well as the win single to cover all the bases.
3:50 Hamilton - HORTZADAR (7/2) - WIN - This horse got no luck in the run at all at Royal Ascot and will be out to make amends today. There’s plenty of early speed forecast so he should get a dream trip and he’s the proven class in this race. The big danger however will be HEADINGLY (5/1) and therefore we are also advising an EW single on that horse together with the combination forecast.
4:20 Hamilton - ANNANDALE (11/10) - WIN - This is an intriguing contest and one which the favourite should win pretty easily. There has been money for her stablemate (ROSEABAD) but I personally think the bigger danger will be EAGLE COURT (13/2). If ANNANDALE runs to form though, she’ll win.
4:50 Hamilton - COTTAM LANE (7/4) - WIN - A horse who has plenty of ability but hasnt really put it all together on the track yet this season. That being said, he tops our ratings here by some distance and his connections will be extremely disappointed if he doesn’t get the win today. The only potential danger in our book is CALL ME GINGER (9/2) so once again we will cover with the combination forecast.
5:20 Hamilton - ALSVINDER (11/1) - EW - There is no doubt that this horse is a very tricky customer but ultimately this is one of the weakest fields he will have encountered and if he’s in a going mood he’ll surely go close.
